Agenda

SB 1225 – (Mensch) Amends the Insurance Company Law of 1921 to remove a provision requiring
patient cost sharing and to specify that minimum coverage includes all costs
associated with one supplemental breast screening every year.

SB 1243 – (Gebhard) Amends the Public School Code to require completion of a one-half credit
economics and personal finance course to graduate high school.

SB 1317 – (Browne) Amends the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency Law by creating
the Indigent Defense Advisory Committee.

SB 1321 – (Baker) Amends sections 302 and 305 of the Tax Reform Code to specifically provide that
the grantor of a trust who is treated as the owner of the trust pursuant to the
Internal Revenue Code shall be obligated to pay the appropriate Pennsylvania
income taxes.

SB 1330 – (K. Ward) Amends the Insurance Company Law of 1921 to require insurance coverage for all
costs associated with genetic counseling and genetic testing for BRCA gene
mutations for individuals at increased risk of breast or ovarian cancer.

HB 365 – (Harkins) Amends the Public School Code by updating outdated terminology to conform with
modern usage.

HB 1486 – (O’Neal) Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to authorize the Department of Transportation to issue
a Blue Star Family plate to military family members.

HB 1958 – (Hennessey) Amends Title 75 (Vehicles) to require the Department of Transportation to create a
driver improvement program and to establish requirements for certain individuals
to take driver improvement program courses.

HB 2667 – (Mercuri) Amends Title 7 (Banks and Banking) to remove the requirement to maintain physical
records of the licensee’s mortgage loan business at a remote location.
